There’s two ways to go about such matters in design.
Either we stick to the course we set out to do or, well, we deny the original course of action and plow forth on a journey of ones own.
In this next chapter, my dear beauties, we will embark on the latter.
Conversations in Beauty has been a journey of the mind, my scattered, often tormented, snails of ideas and strategies. It’s been fun, but as I said once or a few times before: Beauty is a mystery.
It’s unexplainable, unless experienced.
Imagine your world, designed in perfect alignment: Designed in alignment to the self you see in the mirror and the self you share with intimates and close friends.
But, to be frank, this world you dream of is temporary.
Temporary only if you are truly living your most authentic life, because, my dear, you are always changing, every day is a new day, every breeze feels new and different.
And yet, somehow, in some magical way, you are closer and closer to the person you’ve always been.
I love the thought of us all coming back to ourselves, but at the same time dwelling in these mini journeys over a lifetime.
So, my dear beauties, this leads us to an overdue explanation for our new endeavor together.
I can’t promise you I’ll blog every week (hell I might blog every day for a week if I’m feeling a zing), but I can promise you an exciting exploration of a project I’m working on: The Yuppie Project.
Young Professional is a home design guide for young professionals living in the city. Technically an affordable and accessible solution to apartment interiors, but metaphorically designing a space that feels like you on a budget you can feel good about.
You can expect tests of all kinds, interviews, rabbit hole research and moodboards, inspirations and explanations of how I arrived at a certain design, case studies, all the above. It’ll be fantastical, can’t wait for your feedback and advice along the way.
Let’s shapeshift dreams into reality
